As his father, King Charles, undergoes weekly cancer treatments in London, his son, Prince William, has stepped up to the plate to carry out the royal responsibilities in his father’s absence.
The most important thing for William is that he is caring for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis while his wife recovers from her scheduled abdominal surgery.
William was a recent attendee at a fundraiser for the London Air Ambulance. At that location, he paid tribute to his parents and wife while expressing gratitude for “the kind messages of support for Catherine and for my father, especially in recent days.”
The Prince made a joke about actor Tom Cruise not being able to “borrow” any of the helicopters while joking with him and the other guests.
The Prince politely requested that none of the new helicopters be used in the next Mission Impossible.
“Everyone has noticed on our screens that, well, you appear to view everyday wear and tear differently than the rest of us,” he said.
