Dumpling soup with green leafy vegetables and spring onions

 

Ingredients:

For the dumplings:**– 1/2 pound ground pork or chicken– 1 cup finely chopped napa cabbage– 2 green onions, finely chopped– 1 tablespoon soy sauce– 1 tablespoon sesame oil– 1 teaspoon grated ginger– 1 clove garlic, minced– 1 package wonton wrappers– **For the soup:**– 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth– 2 cups baby spinach or bok choy– 2 green onions, sliced– 1 tablespoon soy sauce– 1 teaspoon sesame oil– 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)– Salt and pepper to taste
