- 250 g unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1 cup tea sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 3 cups tea wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder Icing
- sugar for sprinkling optional

In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla essence.

Gradually incorporate the sifted flour with the yeast, mixing until a homogeneous dough forms.

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Model small cubes with the dough and place them on a greased and floured baking tray.

Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden.

Let cool completely before serving. If desired, sprinkle icing sugar on top to decorate.
