Grandma’s semolina porridge ready in 10 minutes

First, bring the milk to a boil in a large saucepan with sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt.
Then, while stirring with a whisk, add the semolina and bring back to a boil.
2. Remove the pan from the heat and let the semolina stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
3. In the meantime, separate the  egg yolks from the egg whites. Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Stir the egg yolks into the semolina porridge.
4. Now add the butter to the semolina porridge and stir until the butter has melted.
Finally, carefully fold the beaten egg whites into the finished semolina porridge.
It goes best with compote of your choice, cinnamon and sugar, or brown butter.
