A container’s worth of whipped topping, like Cool Whip, eight ounces

One 3.4-oz. package of instant vanilla pudding mix.

1-cup milk, preferably whole or 2%.

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Combine the pudding mix and milk in a blender: In a medium bowl, melt the instant vanilla pudding mix with the milk and stir until well combined. Allow it to thicken somewhat by letting it sit for a few minutes.

Enhance with Essence of Vanilla: Add the vanilla essence to the pudding mixture and mix well.

Top with whipped cream: Gently incorporate the whipped topping into the pudding mixture to combine. Be careful not to overmix the ingredients if you want it to have its airy texture.

Keep in the refrigerator: Before using, let the frosting set in the fridge for half an hour. It will be easy to pipe or spread it over treats using this.
