Hearty Hamburger Potato Casserole

Directions:

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or oil.

Cook the Ground Beef:

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is soft and translucent. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Prepare the Casserole Mixture:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir until well combined.

Layer the Ingredients:

In the prepared baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by the ground beef mixture. Pour half of the soup mixture over the beef, then add the remaining potatoes. Finally, pour the rest of the soup mixture on top.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
