I tried this for dinner last night, and WOW
Quantity of Ingredient
Cheese that has been shredded 1/2 cup
Minced fresh parsley As a final touch,
Instructions:
Warm up the oven: Warm the oven up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Prepare a baking dish with grease that is 9×13 inches..
Mix the breadcrumbs with the milk in a small dish to soak. Soak for five minutes.
Combine the ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and dried thyme in a big mixing basin. Add the onion and garlic. Mix well to form the meatloaf mixture. Thoroughly combine.
Form meatloaf: Place the meat mixture in the baking dish that has been preheated and form it into a loaf.
Garnish with ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard, which you should combine in a small bowl. Drizzle over the meatloaf.
The internal temperature should reach 160°F (71°C) after 50-60 minutes in the oven.
While the meatloaf is in the oven, boil some chopped potatoes in a big saucepan with some cold water to make mashed potatoes. Raise the heat to high and season with a pinch of salt. After around fifteen to twenty minutes of cooking, the vegetables should be soft. Drop into the saucepan and stir. Incorporate the butter and milk. Mash until it becomes creamy and smooth. Finish with a pinch of pepper and salt.
Put the meatloaf in the oven and when it’s done, cover it with mashed potatoes. On top, crumble some cheddar cheese. Melt and bubble the cheese by broiling for three to five minutes.
Prior to slicing and serving, let the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top.
Pile on the mashed potatoes and cheese for a satisfying meatloaf meal.
