Ingredients for making a Kentucky Butter Cake.

Whisk the sugar until it becomes fluffy and light in a bowl. After each option, add one egg at a time and beat well after each one. Vanilla is the best. Before you add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the cream mixture, make sure to mix everything well. Add the buttermilk and keep mixing after each time you add some. Fill a 10-inch baking dish that has been lightly coated with oil and dusted with flour to the top. After baking for 55 to 70 minutes at 350 degrees, check if a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Wait ten minutes for it to cool down. Cut the outline of the shape and the box that is at the center of attention. Put the cake on a rack over wax paper. Mix the sugar, butter, and water in a small saucepan to create the sauce. Heat the margarine until it becomes liquid and stir the sugar in a medium-sized pot. Stay away from fire; mix the ingredients together. Once the cake has cooled down, make small holes in it and pour 1/4 cup of sauce over the top. You have to leave it there so the sauce can soak in.

Eat it!
