Pineapple Delight Dessert

During the hot summer months, it’s usually nice to make fresh treats. We love warm sweets like cakes and pies, but when we’re grilling, nothing beats a genuinely cold dessert to keep us cool. Even though our Lemon Lush is the perfect refreshing dessert, my husband insisted on having something made with pineapple. I had the “great pleasure” of preparing a new dish for him to enjoy after our barbecue.

You won’t see this airy pineapple cream cheese dessert at any of these family gatherings because it’s so portable.

 

 

This chocolate lasagna recipe has received rave reviews from everyone I’ve shared it with. Looks like all you’ll bring home is dirty dishes!

What you need:

The crust
Three cups crushed graham crackers
Melt 3/4 cup butter
Filling
3/4 cup melted butter
2.5 cups powdered sugar, often called confectioners
‘ sugar Two eggs
one teaspoon vanilla
Pineapple stack
Two cans crushed pineapple drained, equivalent to about 1 cup
Vanilla ice cream
1 and 1/2 cups heavy
cream 3 tablespoons caster sugar (confectioners’ sugar)
Two teaspoons vanilla beans

Instructions:
Turn the oven on high (350 degrees). Apply a thin layer of cooking spray to a 13-by-9-inch pan. Remove from heat.
Mix butter and graham cracker crumbs in a medium bowl until crumbled. Gently press into the prepared pan.

 

 

After 10 minutes in the oven, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Use an electric mixer to thoroughly combine the butter, confectioners’ sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a separate dish.
Once the crust has cooled completely, pour the filling over it and spread carefully to form an even layer.
