Recipe for a Delectable Christmas Plum Cake

– 30 grams, or 4 tablespoons Three quarters of a cup of plain flour, or 90g Semolina – 100g, about half a cup No less than 110 grams, or half a cup, of sugar 3-Eggs, Butter Egg Whites—2 Yolks
– Three tablespoons Strawberry preserves (jelly or jam) if desired:
– A 240 ml measuring cup – A baking pan 20 by 20 centimeter square dish
Instructions:
Begin by getting the oven to 160°C, which is 320°F.
2. Mix together all the nuts, dried fruits, spices, golden syrup, brandy or rum, vanilla extract, and any optional essences in a big dish. Once combined, let aside for a few hours, preferably overnight, to soak.
3. Whip the sugar and butter in a another bowl until they are light and airy.
Gradually add the egg yolks, being sure to mix well after each addition.
5. Mix in the semolina and plain flour.
6. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the batter when they have formed firm peaks.
Step7: Mix in the soaking fruit and strawberry jam or jelly. Combine thoroughly.
8. Transfer the batter onto a square baking pan that is 20×20 cm in size, coated with oil.
9. After 30 minutes of preheating the oven to 160°C (320°F), lower the heat to 140°C (284°F) and continue baking for another 50-60 minutes. Bake, uncovered, for half an hour, or until done.
