Stop cooking mashed potatoes in water🥔🔥

Instructions:
Chicken Fried Steak:

Mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and flour in a shallow bowl.

In a separate bowl, mix the buttermilk and eggs.

Dip each steak in the flour mixture, then the buttermilk mixture, then the flour mixture again. Make sure the steak is well coated.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until about 1/2 inch thick.

Cook steaks until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.

Mashed potatoes:

Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 15 minutes until soft.

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot; add the milk and mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

Sos:

In the same pan you used to cook the steaks, drain most of the 2 tablespoons of oil.

Add flour and fry for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Gradually add milk, stirring constantly while cooking, until sauce thickens. Add salt and pepper.
