Everyone Loves It—This easy-to-make pineapple bake is a classic that never fails to please.
Let’s Talk About How Good It Is
My favorite way to enjoy this pineapple bake is with a dollop of silky vanilla ice cream gently melting over top, but it is also delicious on its own. Extraterrestrial bliss awaits you in this heavenly combination of warm, zesty pineapple sauce and chilled, creamy ice cream.
If you’re serving it as a dessert, top it over with some sweetened whipped cream. If you’re looking for something heartier, it goes well with festive ham or brunch sausages.
If we’re talking about brunches or potlucks, this pineapple bake is great since it can be brought either cold or served at room temperature. You can easily reheat it in the oven or microwave for a few minutes until it’s warm and saucy again; it reheats well too.

To get bubbling borders and a somewhat golden top, bake for 45 minutes.
Cool for 5–10 minutes before serving warm, or refrigerate altogether for cold serving.
If you like, you may top it with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
Add half a teaspoon of coconut essence to the vanilla for an additional tropical twist.
For a colorful and crunchy garnish, try topping it with toasted coconut or maraschino cherries.
Before serving, add a splash of pineapple rum to make it more alcoholic!
