Chocolate and coconut squares: the recipe for a dessert that melts in your mouth

Ingredients:

  • For the chocolate sponge cake:
    5 eggs
    1 pinch of salt
    150 g sugar
    50 ml water
    120 g flour
    30 g cocoa powder
  • For the coconut layer:
    2 eggs
    80 g sugar
    180-200 g desiccated coconut
  • For the filling:
    300g cream cheese
    70g granulated sugar
    300g whipped cream
    100g melted white chocolate
    50g desiccated coconut
    80g toasted almonds

100 ml of cream (or milk) + 1 tablespoon of sugar for the syrup

  • For the chocolate ganache:
    100 g dark chocolate
    100 g cream
