Fortifier Recipe
You may want to wear gloves while preparing the peppers, especially when handling them, as the tingling sensation in your hands can be difficult to bear. Be careful, as the smell is very strong and can instantly stimulate your sinuses.
Ingredients:
700 ml apple cider vinegar (always use organic)
1/4 cup finely chopped garlic
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 fresh chilies, the hottest you can find (be careful when cleaning them, wear gloves!!!)
1/4 cup grated ginger
2 tablespoons grated horseradish
2 tablespoons turmeric or two pieces of turmeric root
