Never Make These Mistakes When Eating BANANAS!

When eating bananas, there are a few common mistakes you might want to avoid to get the most out of this healthy snack. Here’s a list of things you should never do when eating bananas:

1. Peeling from the wrong end
Most people peel bananas from the stem, but the best way to peel a banana is from the opposite end (the “flower” end). This is how monkeys do it, and it’s much easier, as you can pinch the tip and peel it without the stringy bits.

2. Eating an unripe banana
While you can technically eat unripe bananas, they can be tough, hard to digest, and bitter. Bananas are best when they’re ripe, soft, and yellow. The starch in unripe bananas hasn’t fully converted into sugar, which makes them harder to digest.

3. Throwing away the peel
Banana peels are rich in nutrients like potassium, fiber, and antioxidants. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can blend it into a smoothie, fry it, or even make a composting pile for plants.
